OK,

You are saying that no 2 meter contacts are simplex. contacts are DUPLEX on
2 meters with ISS.

Where do you find the ISS section on SATPC32? We found ISS listed but it
was 435? and 145.800.

Is PSK and Slow Scan TV random transmissions from ISS or is there a schedule
so we know what classes in school can use them or may be there is a
schedule, posted some where.

We want to start these programs the first of the year in school.

Maybe there is a knowledgeable and active AMSAT person in the Chesapeake,
VA - Hampton Roads area. Does any one know?

God Bless

Rich

Hi,

With the release of the FUNcube Dashboard and it's associated
documentation, we have also
released help info on how to register your Dashboard for use with the
Data Warehouse.

Please visit: http://forum.funcube.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=18

If you have any follow up questions, please submit them as replies on
the forum so that others can see them.

Hi Dave,

The registration does not like short callsigns like N0JY. It requests 5
to 30 characters. Can that be changed to accommodate U.S. calls like
mine, or will I have to come up with a different identifier?

Thanks

I had the same problem.

I tried NR0T-1 but the hyphen was not a valid charact.
I then tried NR0T_1 and that worked.

Hi Rich,

There is a separate program you launch---don't run SatPC32.exe; rather,
use SatPC32ISS.exe. The SatPC32ISS.exe program is different, to handle
the 2M duplex issues.

SatPC32ISS.exe should be under the SatPC32 folder under your Start button.

Hi Dave

Could be the subject is exhausted? This link can revive it:

And it's about satellite "The borg cubes" but this one add something more
than the other ones.

One more thing then Dave, the Dashboard won't let me select another
folder for Files (in the File - Settings...)
Select folder... works to get me where I want to go but it does not
return the selected folder.

What surprised me was that I got the aforementioned reactions
from--ahem!--engineering students or recent engineering graduates.

When I started my engineering studies 40 years ago, I had been an SWL
for nearly 2 years and had QSLs from a number of foreign stations.
Even then, I knew I wanted to get my callsign some day.

I haven't given up hope. I'm just saddened that amateur radio is
viewed not as a technical activity that makes use of much of what's
taught in university but more like an eccentricity.

I still get similar comments from people but it's usually from older adults.
