Recovery operations are underway again for AO-27. We will try to keep the
website up to date with any infomation.
- Michael, N3UC

We could definitely use another FM bird, so let's hope they are able to get
it going again. Maybe I'm a good luck charm - I just sent a QSL card to
N5TRR for my last QSO on AO-27, just minutes before it failed last year,
stating "Last operational orbit of AO-27" in the comment field. I'd be
happy to be wrong about that!

Paul, N8HM

With this information,

I thought, lets update the TLE data for AO-27.
But when I queried the space-track database I got another name for
norad-id 22825 ?

0 KITSAT B
1 22825U 93061C 13304.75582515 .00000229 00000-0 10682-3 0 5154
2 22825 098.6342 247.4246 0007462 243.1674 177.4743 14.29604597 48145

Strange, in amateur.txt via Celestrak it says

EYESAT-1 (AO-27
1 22825U 93061C 13304.75582515 .00000229 00000-0 10682-3 0 5154
2 22825 98.6342 247.4246 0007462 243.1674 177.4743 14.29604597 48145

Seems a glitch in the space-track database ????

Thank you for the updates on AO 27, I would appreciate more information on
how it worked and frequency range.

Looks like it would be another great tool in the classroom teachings by the
K4AMG club.

So if either N8HM, N3UC, or N5TRR could fill in the blanks it would be
great.

God Bless

The latest news about the launch date and time has just been confirmed by
Kosmotras.
The launch date of RS-20B rocket (Dnepr) with a group of satellites
(DubaiSat-2 cluster mission) from Dombarovsky missile area (Yasny Launch
Base) has been established for November 21, 2013 at 07:10:11 UT. The
back-up launch date is November 22, 2013 at 07:10:11?UT.

We will shortly be providing prelaunch TLEs and, in about 7/10 days,
the Dashboard software that is needed to demodulate and display the
telemetry information. More information about the Dashboard can found
