I am purchasing the Amsat preamp and looking for a TX preamp
switch to protect it. I am working on a small portable setup and for now
will just be using a hand held with about 5W to get started.

Would the Ramsey RFS1 for 19.95 work ok or is their a better switch I should
look into. If necessary I would rather spend a few extra dollars to protect
the
preamp or future more expensive preamp setup.

Mike,

That should work fine, though the last time I looked Ramsey charged
ridiculous shipping rates.
