Hello,

This weekend is Lighthouse Lightship weekend, around the world. I will be
operating at the Fire Island Lighthouse, from Fire Island, NY, FN30. The
host club is the Great South Bay ARC, www.gsbarc.org. I will be using the
club call sign, W2GSB/FI. The plan is to work all the amateur satellites,
Saturday and Sunday, starting on the 14:23 U pass of FO-29. The operating
hours will be until 4 PM, as the Lighthouse is being repaired and we must
leave at that hour each day. If you like to collect Lighthouse QSL cards
you will enjoy having this one, and can mail your card to my home call.

I look forward to working many stations and those of you worked me at Custer
Observatory, QSL cards are being printed, thank you.

Hi all,

I am mentoring a school in Indiana County PA that is going to have an
upcoming ARISS contact. We don't have the school scheduled yet but it will
probably be in early 2014. If you can provide some help with equipment, then
please let me know and I will forward it on to the school.

Thanks for the help.

This second pass of the night was also good...

Thanks to XE1HG, N5AFV, WA5KBH and CO6CBF... LoTW QSLs are sending now...

Tomorrow I will be on the 1310 pass... and night passes

Please sorry my english, there will be times I will spell your call
wrong, don't worry, I will be recording the pass and I will correct it
for the log...

Hector (CO6CBF) is always teaching my about my operation skills, and he
noticed that my audio is some times cut out, this is a common problem of
the Alinco DR-130 with a to low CTSS and to high modulation... I will
work on that...

Thanks Hector and all...!

CU on the brids...

Yes, there is still a 20 Meter AMSAT Net. It meets on Sundays at 1800 UTC
for informal exchanges and at 1900 for bulletins. Freq. is 14.282 MHz.
Occasionally we miss one when both the primary and alternate net controls
are absent or there is heavy QRM due to contests etc. Net controls are W5IU
in Fort Worth, TX, and W7LB in Tucson, AZ. Check in some time!
