Interview discusses the IARU-R1 proposal to use the very lower part of 144
MHz for Amateur Radio linear transponder satellites, see

http://amsat-uk.org/2013/05/06/amateur-radio-today-iaru-r1-vienna-interview/

The use of this part of 144 MHz by satellites depends on agreement by IARU
Regions 2 and 3. The IARU Region 2 Conference takes place in Cancun, Mexico
in September 2013.

Hi all,
Will attempt the AO-7 mode b pass this afternoon. The cavity I brought
really makes operating fun.
See here for some pictures of the RF hell I operate in.

The elevated structure in the pics is a an electric railway.
The good news is that I'll be operating from the Morrow Solar. It's got a
view to the horizon. There are a few pics of that location on flickr too..
