Hello J-P,

Most likely you have heard FO-29 CW beacon.

CubeBug-1 Heard on the 12:20UTC pass again.

Hi All,

CubeBug-1 has been heard here again on the 12:20 UTC pass. Its modulation
is AFSK 1200bd but seems to be lacking deviation.A recording can be found
on
http://pa3weg.nl/pa3weg/recordings/CubeBug-1t-26-04-2013_1220UTC_PA3WEG.mp3

The beacon should be on every 30s or 10s. The observed period was 30s.

Possibly, a low deviation FM RX can retrieve the signal.

Last recording for me today:
http://www.pa3weg.nl/pa3weg/recordings/CubeBug-1-26-04-2013_1040UTC_PA3WEG.mp3
On the second orbit I was listening in SSB and captured the AFSK beacon.

Just got the confirmation from the CubeBug-1 team I was the first confirmed
RX ;)

   Many thanks Scott/N1AIA and Mika/OH8MBN,

Yes, it was FO-29... I wrote 435.910 for the beacon of FO-29 and this
wrong frequency was leading me to mistake. The JAS-2/FO-29 beacon is very
close to the one of Hope-1.

Thank you again, best 73 !

Was able to hear my carrier thru the Turksat transponder on 17:20 pass at
DN70

Behavior was strange, almost behaved like it wasn?t inverting (it is
inverting, correct ?).

SSB did not come through cleanly.

TX/RX offset varied during the pass.

I will be better prepared for 18:49 pass and get some panadapter screen
shots.

May also try BUGCUBE that pass

Nothing heard on two passes. Not sure as I all I can hear are what I think
are timing sigs from cell towers. They had a direct pass over HC on orbit 7.

I've not listened for Pegasus (Pegagso) but a Tweet from Ecuador said
(Google English translation):

"An amateur radio operator in Germany we pass the audio signal PEGASUS and
the first thing we heard was the NATIONAL ANTHEM! PEGASUS is alive!"
