Subject: [amsat-bb] kpc-9612 plus and online_kiss.exe

Hi All
Has anyone got the online_kiss app to work with a kpc-9612 plus?

I have changed the init txt to intface kiss and reset
I have tried putting the tnc into kiss mode before the app starts
I have tried different port speeds matching my tnc setup

And nothing ever shows up, but...

using some other programs I see data coming from the sat on this tnc.

I would like to get this working to make use of the write to file feature.

Thanks 73
  Kevin wa6fwf

Elon has been pretty candid on this issue on Twitter. His Twitter account
seems to be quicker than the news services at providing updates.

Sorry for the double email, the better twitter link is here, the last one I
sent shows older tweets with no replies for some reason:

Tom,
I must congratulate you on a nicely written Arduino application. As
you demonstrate,
it's not critical what hardware gets used.
The feedback/hysteresis loop in the program is nicely documented. It
begs to be used.

Your design is much like mine. I was going to use tube stock rather
than build it. The bearings are remarkably cheep, though. I found them
for $$7bux.

>From a simplicity point of view, building it from bicycle parts is as
common as you can get.

Have fun,
Norm

According to:

http://spaceflightnow.com/falcon9/005/status.html

one thruster pod is operating but there's no word if any of the
remaining 3 can be used. Apparently at least 3 need to be good in
order for Dragon to approach the ISS.
