That's a great discount, too bad the radio is still $1500 over priced.. I
got the chance to play with one for a couple of hours and although the HF is
a little better than my TS-2000 still doesn't come close to my Flex 5000,
its not worth the price difference of a TS-2000. Even with the added price
of the down converter to fix the birdie problem with the TS-2000.
Just my 2 cents worth.

No problem. I sold my TS-2000X and bought the IC-9100 a while ago. I will
never look back. The Icom runs circles around the TS-2000. To each its own.
