Thank you for the link.?I have read JFK's speech before, but never seen the
delivery. A great man.
?
I was 8 years old when he was murdered. I was making Christmas decorations
with my mother in the kitchen, we had no money for decorations so we were
cutting out?silver stars from the foil?tops of milk bottles. She cried, and
told me he was a good man, and so, did I. My father, a police officer (later
GW1MLA, SK), a few days after watched the Jack Ruby incident, and said, that
was wrong, too.

Hi Jim,
?
I am sure I am expressing the views of the many who would dearly like to
attend but can't due to personal circumstances.

The live stream is a great way for us to have some involvement, the emphasis
being on live.

Of course the recorded stream will be welcome but hope for the live
experience.

Hi,

? The BATC team will be there and will be making recordings of the
presentations. At the present time we are uncertain about live streaming as
we are uncertain about the quality of the hotels internet access. If its
good, then we will stream, otherwise we will try and upload to the server
asap after each presentation finishes.

Can anyone help with this Southern CA event in October? Please contact
Curtis directly - thanks!

Hello Clint,
My name is Curtis Watanabe (KI6KUK) and saw your presentation at our
PVARC (Palos Verdes ARC) meeting several months ago. I was wondering
if you might be interested in doing a presentation for the Los Angeles Area,
Boy Scout of America during JOTA (October 20-21)?

As you might know, JOTA is a 48 hour event, but I would only ask if you would
be interested in a rather small commitment of possibly 1 to 4 hours,
preferably
on Saturday, but Sunday is also okay.

http://www.arrl.org/jamboree-on-the-air-jota

This year, we are trying to make concerted efforts to reach other Scouts
around
the world. Last several years, I set up a JOTA station for our single
district, but
this year we are working with the whole LA Council (6 districts) to work JOTA.

Regards,

Curtis Watanabe
