I seem to have lost CAT control between the program and the radio. ( I had
to do a reset of the radio for another reason )

SatPC says it cannot find COM 3 (where cat control lives) Radio connects
fine with HRD and HRD's Sat program..but will not with SatPC

Is there a menu in the radio that I have turned off or??

Any help appreciated

I could not help but notice the difference between these folks and the
studied routine of NASA and USAF controllers. You can tell they are trying
hard to be blas?, but once it is in orbit and the solar panels are out, they
just can't keep from cheering. And well they should!!!

Its photovoltaic arrays have been deployed and it's now on its way to the
ISS.

Probably a baud rate mismatch. I think that the radio defaults to 9600, so if
you had SatPC32 set up to use a different baud rate, that could be your issue.

Website says it's "100% Yaesu GS-232A compatible", so I would suggest
selecting
the Yaesu_GS-232 option is SatPC32 Rotor setup and see how that flies. Be
sure
to read & follow Erich's tips under "?", "Hints [Rotor]", "Yaesu_GS232".

Hi!

I recorded 3 videos of passes that were worked from the AMSAT
demonstration station at last weekend's 2012 Dayton Hamvention.
The videos are now available on my YouTube channel:

http://youtube.com/va7ewk

Two of the 3 videos were from VO-52 passes last Friday (18 May)
and Saturday (19 May). Later on Saturday, the third video from an
SO-50 pass was recorded.

Hi Luciano, thanks for your nice video,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zetBYKzBpMk

I, JE9PEL, used TLE's OBJECT D as Horyu-2, it was OBJECT B so far.
The control station are operating FM transmission test over Japan now.
I decoded today FM sensor data 86 bytes, packet No.300 of table_sector 4.

A video of the 1985 Space Shuttle STS-51-F Challenger Spacelab 2 Post Flight
Press Conference has been made available on YouTube.

The SAREX contacts of Tony England W0ORE are mentioned at 11:40 into the
video.
