Follow up to my earlier post about getting SSTV signals from ARRISat-1.

I have now decoded 2 1/2 photos.

They are not real clear, though the band was fully quiet. No static etc. I
can see some detail of the horizon of earth and space. Cool.

I'll keep at it. And thank you to those who helped with suggestions!

recall correctly I believe it was because I had the input audio set way too
high (I cranked it down to just about no audio to get a clear pic). If you
have downloaded pictures before from HF and have had success at your preset
audio levels, then I doubt that is the issue.

If I worked you from EM46 and you need a confirmation, please email me
and let me know, I think I have gotten all the email requests filled out
and in the mail.

If you do not receive one by the end of this week please advise and I
will get you one in the mail.

I didn't work that many people and I DO NOT NEED AN SASE. I am happy to
send out a card for that trip, that's why I went up there.
73's and Happy New Year to all

I have decided to change my broadcast stream to a different service. The
remaining passes for today will be at the following link. I get less video
drop outs and the clarity is a bit better.

Thanks and Happy New Year

I would like to schedule contacts with the East Coast. I am in Santa Monica
CA. I can hear myself on the
current 4 sats, but I don't hear anyone on the East Coast.

If you are on the East Coast I would appreciate you letting me know if you
hear the West Coast on any sat
and if so I would like to set up a scheduled contact. Merv

I just started using this and the learning curve has been a real pain ..
