Launch is scheduled for the 25th.
Meanwhile, here are 2 recent news items about Phobos-Grunt:

One critical factor is the life-time of the on-board batteries. Most
reports I read mentioned 3 days, though I've seen some which estimated 2
weeks.

?? Michael?
I only recently started into the amateur satellites and actaully ???
? (HO-68) was the satellite over which I heard my own signals back for
the very first time and also made the first satellite QSO. Too sad the
transponder operations stopped. It was really a very good linear
transponder. Do you have any news there? Is there a chance that it will
come back?
I feel very sorry about the current troubles with Phobos-Grunt thus also
compromising the ???? (Yinghuo 1) mission. Hope it will work out.
Cheers, ???

I have made some progress in my decoding and I am decoding E1P-U2
consistently, but I am still not certain of which object it is. Has
anyone definitely, or within reason, identified which of the original
objects the various sats are? Since AubieSat, M-Cubed, and E1P were in
the first pod to be deployed, I would think they would be clustered.
RAX-2 should be all by itself. Object A and H are none of the sats but
rather the booster, etc. I am asking mainly because I am using Object
F for E1P but the doppler correction is off. What are those of you who
are tracking these sats using? I am ready to try to decode RAX-2 and
M-Cubed again but I want to make certain I am using the right TLEs.
Thanks,
*Carl W8KRF*

Hi folks,
Just got my first 1000 BPSK frames of data using the ARISSat-1 Telemetry
software.
Appreciate most?of you ?on the bb have probably already done it already.
I just?wanted to say a public thank you for a superb and easy to use piece of
software.
Looks cool on screen too.
Using the CW beacon as a reference to stay on tune is brilliant, worked well,
even with manual Doppler tune.
Anyone not yet tried it, give it a go. WX4SXM's quick Start Guide will put you
on the right track.
73 All
off to get a few more frames

Does anyone on the list have a UV-X4 and access to a spectrum analyzer? It
has to be a UV-X4, not any of the older models. Please reply direct only.

Congratulations...but Be Careful John! The label should read, "CAUTION!
Telemetry collection is addictive!"
Don't forget about the "Last ARISSat-1 Telemetry Frame Collected"
competition AMSAT is running. For now, it's the top story at:
