Ok DN01 is out sorry. However DN20-21 meet right above Jim's property so
those are definatly in for Sun & Mon I will be up early for the 51 passes
for sure and the rest I will basicly hit every pass I can. I am not gonna
try and figure out exact times, if you hear me then there you go. :)

DN00 I will try whatever passes are left on Sat afternoon from Toulon Lake
off I-80.

DN10,11 Meet perfectly just outside Winnemucca where I-80 bends up a little
there, but I am not sure what time we will be passing through. If any FM
Sats are overhead you know I will make him stop so I will try 00,10,11 comin
and goin.

Good Luck to all, I always have fun anyway, so this should be good for
everyone.

Hi All,

For those of you who worked me while mobile in EN83 yesterday, I will be
sending out cards Monday and no sase/request is needed. I was hoping to get
on a few other passes from EN75/74/81, but my RX antenna was sandwiched
between two canoes which was impeding my receive ability. I will be back
through these same grids in December, and I am hoping to be a bit more
successful then.

Hi Folks,

At the recent AMSAT-UK Colloquium, the G3AAJ cup was awarded to Ken Eaton,

Sadly, I dont have a picture of the presentation made to Ken by Martin

If anyone can let me have a photo, I'd be very grateful. Pls email me off

I forgot to mention that all QSOs will be in LoTW later this week under

right now. Still trying to get back in the swing of things. ;-)

Hi Clint, K6LCS

I am very concerned about AO-27 site has been down for about 2 weeks.

This problem happens when there is only one control station able to manage
a satellite.

In my opinion AMRAD should create another control operator just in case
like this.

I want to take a
minute to say thanks to the people who have helped me to discover the
fantastic Ham
satellite world and who have worked me on Sat. I have spent a fantastic time
on
Satellites. I really have enjoyed it.

Yesterday, I
received the grid confirmation number 100 in LotW from KD8CAO, Doug. Now, I
am able to
apply to the Satellite VUCC. It will be the first Satellite VUCC in my
country, Cuba.

?Thanks a million for your help and the great QSOs
on Sats.

See you soon on

Jens, DL7VTX, is apparently operating portable in EA8.
He was worked on AO-51 this afternoon. His signal wasn't
very strong into the bird but he was hearing. Jens has
operated from the Caribbean in the past, usually with an
HT and a whip antenna. He likes to hike and takes the radio
with him. No info on how long he might be there, but if
you are on the East Coast and need EA8, listen for him.

Hi Clint, K6LCS

I am very concerned about AO-27 site has been down for about 2 weeks.

This problem happens when there is only one control station able to manage
a satellite.

In my opinion AMRAD should create another control operator just in case
like this.

On Friday morning Sept 09, 2011 at 14:22 Z, Cincinnati, Ohio I copied a
picture from ARISSat-1/RADIOSCAF-B that appears to have a very unusual
pattern over the area of the Earth. It may be breaks in cloud cover but
appears over a very large area of the Earth and has a somewhat repeated type
of pattern. Did anyone else copy and what would be the interpretation? I
will try to submit a copy on the ARISS SSTV Gallery.
