Hi Bruce, Alan and the rest of BB,
145.870 is (nearly) always off for telemetry. Please check the mission
operations page at
http://www.delfic3.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=93&Itemid=122
and look at the active radio over there. If we switch Delfi-C3 over to
145.870 for telemetry or transponder we will also post that info on
the BB.

GO32 is in APRS mode for Field Day.
I just checked on the LIVE DOWNLINK on the GO32 APRS web page:
http://www.ew.usna.edu/~bruninga/GO32-ops.html
And there seems to be active users testing. So if you want an
uncongested satellite that anyone can work with APRS at 9600
baud you might consdier it. (The D7 and D700 are ready to go!)
I also noticed that ISS is in APRS mode (1200 baud) so unless it
changes before the weekend, that is also a possiblity.

Just out of curiosity, why is there currently no PL tone for AO-51
access?

We shut the PL tone off around the beginning of 2007 if I remember
correctly. We found that the PL tone caused access problems when the
satellite was very busy, due to competing signals blocking the receiver, and
no downlink being passed to clue the operators into standing by and letting
the other guy through. The PL tone also just masked non-amateur or
out-of-bandplan signals on the uplink, but the signals were still there
blocking the users, with little chance of being found and eliminated if we
couldn't hear them.
We have a new PL mode we can try sometime that will turn the downlink on for
n minutes, and switch to a nonPL'ed uplink for that time. This mode may let
us run a higher power downlink, but it makes battery management problematic.

Digipeater was working great. From my station in Maryland, I
saw only one other station, myself and K3PDK. My passes over
Maryland, (today,24 June) were at 0825, 1005 and 1145 EDT.
