I am looking for any Wisconsin Members. That can operate Mode "A"
Actually a Reverse Mode "A" 10 meters up and 2 meters down.

And even more important is if they happen to be in southwest Wisconsin
would be a plus.

That's a bummer!

I've bounced APRS packets through it using my TH-D7 and a Diamond SRH77CA.

The ISS ought to be on 145.825 for packet, unless they're doing something
strange up there.

I don't know if there's any terrestrial APRS, or any other sort of 1200bps
packet, but it's probably worth listening out for that to test your
decoding. Receive levels are surprisingly uncritical, but if you can get
access to a deviation meter or service monitor to set up the transmit levels
you'll get on a lot better.

Round here (NW Scotland) APRS has undergone a sudden and massive resurgence
of interest, and 144.800 is extremely busy.

Hi!

I apologize for the error in Ray's (W1OTH) e-mail in my posting
last night. I left out an "m" in his e-mail address. His e-mail
address is as follows:

fobes at commspeed dot net (two "m"'s in 'commspeed')

Any messages I've received regarding the items from Ray's list
have been forwarded to him. I do not know if the 6m radio is
the high-power version, but it might not be given that Ray is
also selling a 6m amplifier. I do not know if Ray is interested
in shipping to addresses outside the USA. I don't know if Ray
accepts PayPal as a form of payment. I trust he will answer those
questions directly to those who were asking.

In any event, I'm not acting as a go-between for the sale of these
items - except to forward the e-mails I have received due to
not properly listing Ray's e-mail address in my original post. I
do not know if he has sold any of the items, but hope to get an
update from him at some point soon on how the sale is going.

They used to run packet on VHF split 144.990 up and 145.800
down so anything is possible. They may have left it on one of
the unlisted uplinks or 145.800 simplex. Stuff happens.

really 27MHz has nothing on this system.

I have finally switched to WIN7 32 bit from XP, and have a few odd little
issues. One is that WiSP no longer recognizes my registration number as
valid. (Double checked from the original e-mail.)

Possibly a clue is that when I start the program, it already has ALAN-PC in
the Callsign box. That is the name of the PC. Of course I clear it. It
did register, once, and I _thought_ it was due to the caps lock being off.
However, when I booted up this morning, it was unregistered and doesn't
accept the registration with or without the caps lock being on. I did try
some backward compatability settings, but no help.

Anybody have this happen, with a solution? I am toying with changing the
name of the machine to WA4SCA, but am holding off until some other support
issues are solved.

Alan
