Mike,
http://www.thewireman.com/rotorp.html
has some 6 conductor.
You can of course use the more common 8 conductor and just clip off the
extra wires, or parallel them.

AO-51 heard at 2040 utc. Uplink 145.880 Downlink 435.150.
No one else on the bird. Just heard my own downlink.
I heard downlink but was on 145.920 for uplink. When switched

Hello Mike,
I do not use 6 conductor rotator control cable.
I use 8 conductor cables for both AZ and EL on the Yaesu G5400B
positioner, leaving 4 spares.
That gives me spares to control:
1. cross pol yagi polarization, (RHCP vs LHCP) 2M and 70 cm
2. Mast mounted preamplifier DC power controlled from the sequencer in
the shack. 2M and 70 cm.
You could also uses spare conductors to control:
3. DC power for the 2.4 GHz to 2M DEMI RX only downconverter.
4. conductors for the temporary maintenance intercom.
Spares are good. For all of my other rotator control cables I use 8
conductor.
One size, one grade, logistically simple ( to me).
I get my rotator control cable from The RF Connection in Gaithersburg
Maryland. Ask for Joel.
Do a google search on them for details.

Check out spinkler wire at Home Depot. 18 GA, 7 conductor is available.
Of course, it can be buried if required. The wire I used specifically
said okay for burial. Run the numbers to see if the voltage drop is an
issue based on length. There is 4 and 5 conductor available also. You
could use more than 1 cable and parallel if needed. I was in a rush and
I have used the sprinkler wire for a rotator without any issues yet. I
occurs to me that perhaps UV resistance might be an issue, but haven't
had a problem yet. Any comments from anyone else on the use of sprinkler
cable for rotators?

It's not officially recommended, but I've been using CAT-6 computer network
cable for a short run (about 75 feet) and it seems to work fine on my Yaesu
azimuth rotator. I've had it up for over a year and it still looks ok.
You should plan to use flexible wire where it has to rotate, flex and bend
freely (as at the elevation rotor). CAT-6 might not last too long in that
situation.

Current uplink is 145.880. It was switched to .92 because of the repeater
interference, which has hopefully been resolved.
