On a related note, I saw a FAQ that indicated that LOTW does not accept ISS
contacts. Is that still the case? Seems kinda strange.

I am not doing anything with it right now anyway. I can't get it to work on
the blog. The layers are all messed up and I don't really have time to mess
with it.
I wouldn't say I am "editing it to my whim," but after some thought I do
agree an email to him wouldn't hurt - if I even decide I want to put it on
my blog.

If you had bothered to read my ENTIRE email, you would've seen that I made
these same points regarding copyrights and recommended that the party go to
both the Google and N2YO websites and make certain that was acceptable.
As it turns out, there are a number of widgets on the N2YO website that are
available and as you state, it's highly likely that N2YO will set you up
with exactly what you are looking for. All you have to do is ask!

The most simple and direct thing to do in many aspects of life: Just ask!
And, if a reasonable and respectful request, you usually get what you want.
Just my opinion, of course. I may be wrong.

To clarify, I was referring to contacts relayed via ISS either through the
digipeater or the voice repeater.

Hi!
Since I haven't seen an answer posted to your question from earlier,
here goes. Yes, QSOs between two stations on the ground through the
ISS is acceptable for LOTW. Use the satellite name "ARISS" for the
ISS, as shown in the LOTW FAQ:
https://p1k.arrl.org/lotw/faq
(all the way at the bottom of the page)

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the info. Just one question for clarification.
Is the full ham spectrum, 420 through 450MHz safe from
the auction.

I was wondering what would be the right coax for a 50 foot run for satellite
work ? Actually maybe a little less ? Your help would be appreciated. Thank
