I will be demo'ing AO-51 from DM04 for the Antelope Valley Amateur Radio
Club this evening during the 6:23PM PDT pass. Hope to meet a couple of you
there tonight!

Clint, K6LCS

P.S. - Regarding the Wouxon HT YouTube video that was cited earlier - Did
you count the number of RF adapters on the HT to connect to the antenna? I
think there are SIX!

Drew,

I appreciate your long-winded and detailed reply. Having purchased an S
band antenna and down converter a few days before Field Day, and missing
the single "good pass" on Sunday morning, I have been anxious to try S
band operation. Looks like there will be plenty of opportunity this
Fall. Thanks for the information, and great explanation.

AMSAT-NA members,

The biographies and ballot for the 4 candidates for the AMSAT Board of
Directors went out on July 15th. In order to be counted, your ballot must
be RECEIVED at the AMSAT office by the close of business on September 15th.
Now is a good time to review the biographical information, ask questions,
and study the minutes of the recent Board of Directors meetings from the
AMSAT Journal. Finally, please vote. This, along with the yearly
opportunity to stand for election, is your best opportunity to influence the
direction of our organization.

73,

Alan Biddle
WA4SCA
AMSAT-NA Corporate Secretary

Erling, LA4FPA/p, is on Vigra Island, JP32BM for
a holiday. He will be on the 2014 UTC pass of AO-7
today, 23 July. AO-7 is in Mode B and this is an
excellent pass for the Northeastern/Northern USA and
Canada. Here's a great chance to add Norway to your
list of countries. Keep it short so everyone has a
chance to work him.

73,
John K8YSE
