Hello Bruce VE9QRP,
May I recommend Gadwin Print Scren?
Download from here:
http://www.gadwin.com/download/
You can find the freeware version at the bottom of the page.
I use it for several years.
It can be configured so, that you can mark even a rectangular area of the
sreen and you can save it for analysis or just for a collection.
As for me I collect similar pictures...

Your post made me wonder if you also could run the Virtual XP mode with
your
Win 7 64 bit as I do and help your problem
I work my old programs that way.
Not always easy but
I use DOSBOX also
I do not run a terminal emulator however.

Charlie,
I ran across the following info that looks interesting. 73 de Andy W5ACM
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While Hyperterminal shipped with Windows XP, it however did not ship with
Windows Vista (Boo Microsoft, Boo!). However that doesn't mean that you
can't
use it. What you can do is rip the following files from a Windows XP disc or
installation;
hypertrm.dll
hypertrm.exe
Now all you need to do is place them anywhere in your Vista directory and
link the shortcut to
hypertrm.exe. Now you can launch it and it will first ask for Zip code and
state. Afterwards you can being to use Hyperterminal as usaual. If you don't
have a copy of Windows XP handy, you can download the file's I've ripped and
use it as well;
http://www.keithdmitchell.com/Downloads/hyperterminal_vista.zip
Side note, although I am using the Windows 7 RC1, I do see a placeslot of
Hyperterminal, but no application for it. You'll be happy to know that this
also will work for Windows 7 as well - *note, this works for 32/64bit Vista
and Windows 7!*

Realterm

http://realterm.sourceforge.net/index.html#downloads_Download
Also works with USB/Serial which may be the way you are running LVB Tracker
on a PC with no real serial devices.
Will also snoop the data stream and capture it.

This pass was quite the combination of voice and packet
traffic. KL4E was on from BP51 Eagle River AK at the end.
N7HYF in DN52 WY also made an appearance.
Below is the packet traffic I copied. The date/time stamps
were inserted by the TNC to show when they were received. At
times the traffic was intense.

Hi to the group.
Wow, its sure nice to see how the BBS has turned out to be a nice
place to visit again.
My thanks to the owners of the system for their focus on the issues that
relate to our
hobby.

I got the same result a couple of weeks ago. Posted a short message , and
did a dir and also observed an empty directory. A while back there were some
reports of being able to view uploaded files. Something appears to have
changed..

It's time for another College Satellite night! We hope to see you on the
birds Thursday evening Feb. 4th from 22:00 UTC to 0500 UTC. College
Satellite nights are a monthly event held the first Thursday of the month.
Mark your calendar and spread the word to college hams/club stations that
you know!
College club stations plan on being on birds AO51, SO50, AO7, VO52, HO-68
and FO-29. Welcome and make QSOs with them as we are planning on creating
an award for working college club stations on satellite.

Hi Jeff,
I can verify the problem. On the beginning of the pass last night I did a
directory request,a message was there and than is was gone. There seems to
be a problem with the bbs.

Hi Nader
I saw your question last week, and the response that said the messages will
stay for 5 days. But I wonder if the messages are lost when the BBS is
switched off?
Perhaps there is a timer to remove them after 5 days if it's left running.
But at present I don't recall seeing any message lasting more than an
orbit.
Thanks
