At the moment I have installed HRD 5.0 build 2434
I use the same keppler sources for all the programs
OS is Windows XP - US with SP3 on a 3.0 GHz P4 HT with 2Gb ram.
I love HRD but the fact that I work satellites 95% of the time makes
HRD Satellite Tracker the most important component of the HRD suite and
it is not working for me.
Here are two problems that I run into:
When I configure the use of for example SO-50 the uplink freq is not
correct I don't know where the problem is but when I use SatPC32 with
the same settings every think working fine.
Regarding SO-50 I experience that the tone and CTCSS settings are not
correct when I use the Radio Pane function I have to use the settings via
HRD main program.
When I use a linear transponder sat, here is the thing I run into:
When alter the uplink freq to correct the difference in uplink and downlink
freq, that when I change freq with the top slidder (TRX) I have to adjust
the uplink again it doesn't keep the correction I made earlier.
When I use the the preset freq function and also configure USB and LSB
it doesn't change my radio in the way it is setup within the preset.
Almost every time uplink and downlink go into LSB mode and not as
configured in USB and LSB.
The things that are great are for example the integration with the logbook,
DX cluster, DM780, Passes overview with HRD Sat Track, Great!
These where a couple of examples,
Hope you can help me?

Does anyone on the forum have a contact for Antenna Warehouse who may be

Message with attached file (photo) also uploaded.
The photo I?ve paint and uploaded carried a QST message to save Forest and
Trees.
More useful meaning to BBS in time of fast DSL
?
The Directory was empty! I wish to receive a reply soon. Really FM killing
the packet or vice versa . I'm lucky coz I'm here in quiet Africa. (Not so
quiet, Not so lucky with DXCC )
The all-week, one-mode Schedule should give a chance to many hams to read
and upload their messages before deleted by OBC. . Thanks Alan for this
arrangement which had been suggested by my Elmer Mr. Dom.
Many Friends sent me an email asking about WISP setup!!
Here every thing in it default setting. I haven?t change any thing only I?ve
added the
Broadcast and BBS callsign . I?m using an old PC Pentium 2 ,OS is XP.

I *do* have the discretionary funds available to become a member, but
for one thing I find it slightly odd that international members pay more
than members in the US, and also I have *no way of paying it*!
I really can't see a way of paying for membership without either a
chequebook or a credit card. I have neither. When I opened my first
current account when I was 16 years old, I had a chequebook - that is
the first and last time I have ever had one. Twenty years later, I
don't even know anyone with a personal chequebook, and as far as I know
my bank doesn't really offer them any more. I don't have a credit card
either, because I don't need one. Every bank account I have ever had
(again, at least since I was 16) has had a debit card facility.
Moreover the design of the amsat.org payment gateway doesn't exactly
fill me with confidence - especially since it never accepts the same
account details for me twice!

$1.00 in 1975 had about the same buying power as $4.05 in 2009.
Annual inflation over this period was about 4.2%.
A 50$ life membership in 1975 worth 202.50$ in 2009 but the actual AMSAT-NA
life membership is at 880$!!!
I don't know how this 880$ has been calculated but someone will surely come
up with an explanation?

These days, it's usually no trouble getting a debit Mastercard or
Visa, which can be used like a credit card (online or in stores), but
draws on money in your bank account. I use a debit Mastercard online
quite frequently, when asked for a "credit card". THe card has a 16
digit number similar to a credit card number, and a similar
verification code on the back.
If you want to or need to make any online payments, enquire with your
bank about getting one of these cards linked to your bank account.
