This last pass of AO-7? I copied RN1NW just about?at his LOS, unfortunately
he did not hear me.? ? Our distance is 7686Km.? I am not sure what the
current DX record is.? Is there a current place where we are keeping track
of these things?? I remember Mack was doing this from SV land.? I must
remember, "if this were easy, everyone would be doing it".

Geeze ... I thought I was brought up with these values. (I hope I follow
them.) I find it a sign o' the times that an organization has to actually
"formally adopt" such a policy.

And so we enter the new decade.

Censorship in any form without external control is unacceptable... I suspect
some with thinner skins than others will find it a convenient screen to hide
behind operating under the guise of "cleaning up the BB... All that was
needed was that if you didn't like it delete it. To adopt something like
this puts you all in the "god" seat. I assume any talk of a HEO is not
entertained (Sorry that is a joke).

Seems strange that Icom are still advertising this radio in the current
Amsat Journal yet their web site says it's
discontinued.

I for one welcome it, I do not believe that it is some right to say
anything you want whenever you want.

But here is the beautiful thing, If you really dislike it that much
and find it totally unacceptable then you do
have the right for you to form your own BB and allow whatever rules you
see fit and I wish you
well in your endeavors.

First pass not within range of much of Australia.
Second pass with max elevation 7 degrees seemed to be switched off.
The best pass, between the above two, for some reason was not
scheduled.

Getting a bit hit and miss lately.

I think so Drew KO4MA says like that.
And I think the transponder turn on for a while after having
passed over Japan. But I don't understand till when the state
continues. Please do the reasonable uplink power.

Nigel,

We have not yet received a new advertisement from Icom for the back cover.
Once we do we'll change the back cover immediately. There is no other
meaning than that.

I was referring to Icom's hands not Amsat's.

Any body within fo-29 shot of San Diego, CA??

I have a pass here beginning ~ 0235Z 17jan10....

It is about 3 orbits after Mineo's predicted turn on time, but I'm
going to give it a shot....

Leo, Art, Allen,????

I really deplore using this media to make a ham contact, as has been
done to death here, but guess that's the way it is until ESA comes up
with something...

Hope everyone is sending them a few bucks now and then...

                    Disagree: I learn....

               Pulling for P3E...
