Hi Kyle

I change one in my AG-35 just cut the legs of the fried one as close to the
casing possible then just solder the new one over the legs
already solder to the board. To avoid over-heating the coil relay just put a
piece of insulating material over the coil i put a small piece
of teflon. There is only one leg too close to the coil relay. You should
have a steady hand and a magnifier with a lamp it help to avoid
messing with your pen iron throwing melted solder all around the place.

It works for me just hope it will work for you.

Good Evening and Happy New Year to all!

I purchased this OSCAR station about 6 months ago and can't get
interested in it so I want to offer it to some folks that are. This
is a package deal and I will not separate it

This station comes with the following,

Icom IC-821H with box, mic, manual and power cord
Yaesu G-5400 Rotator and control box
SASI Sat Tracker Interface for G-5400
M2 2MCP14 with new mast clamps
M2 436CP30 with new mast clamps
2m Landweir Preamp
70cm Landweir Preamp

$800 cash takes it all. Price is firm as I purchased new clamps for
the antennas and had to repair the 2m preamp. The station is up and
running so it can be checked out before taking down. Of course this
is a pick up offer only. Any interested parties can drop me an
e-mail for pictures.

Hello,
does somebody steer his FT-736R with SatPC32 , in particular the subaudio
tone functions of the radio?

I want to answer an inquiry, but can't test that practically because I don't
have the Ctcss unit FTS-8 for my FT-736R.

Many thanks,

Take a look at the schedule at http://www.camsat.cn/index.php?lang=en .
Unless you were listening for the CW beacon, which is very strong, there
was nothing to hear.

Chad,

Take a look here: http://www.hsmicrowave.com/html/70_cm.html

A bit more expensive than Hamtronics, but also much better built.

Full disclosure: The company owner is an active member of AMSAT, and
someone I know. No financial association on my part. Just good stuff.

As Drew stated, the FM and transponder are not always on all the time,
but the CW beacon should always be going. I have no idea about your
skill level, so let me suggest basics:

* Are you sure you're on the right frequency?
* Are you compensating for doppler?
* Everything connected correctly?
* Can you hear other sats?

Hope this helps and that's it something simple.
