Hi.
I am HEILER Ledezma. Researcher of the Space Project 'Colombia on Orbit',
project than launched the first colombian satellite. But we don't have all
the audio file of our Cube-Sat.
I need the most of the audio files of the telemetry of 'Libertad 1'. Can
somebody to send it to me?
Thanks!

I have a G-5500 that sometimes will not turn clock wise(CW) but will
turn counter clockwise (CCW) OK. When it is working OK in both
directions each winding (CW and CCW) measures about 4.4 Ohms in the
shack. When it will not turn CW that winding measures about 2.2 ohms
(The CCW winding still measures 4.4 ohms).
The Controller is fine, so the problem is in the motor.
Does this motor have brushes?
Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
Thanks

Ignore the comment about reading 2.2 Ohms when not working. I just
checked again and it reads about 4.4 ohms whether working or not. So
I guess its getting stuck for some reason.

Hello
Due to urgent commissioning activities that are falling a bit behind, we can
unfortunately not schedule any SA-AMSAT payload activities for the coming
weekend and weekdays to follow.

YOAGAN-7 was launched from Jiuquan by a Chang Zheng-2D into a
sun-synchronous orbit about 400 miles high yesterday. Is this the same
mission for the ham satellite? Jiuquan launches to polar orbit from 41
degrees North.

I have not tested it on satellites but the sensitivity on the sub-band is
not good compared to the main-band.
To solve this you can enable the "lamp/squelch" button to be the PTT.
Now you can receive on the main-band and when pressing the "lamp/squelch"
the PTT is x-mitting on the frequency you have on the sub-band.
This could be a solution for the bad sensitivity.

I know Yaogan-7 is supposed be an earth observation satellite but there is
more than one way to skin a cat - remember the RS- series of satellites
piggybacking on a common power supply bus - and the fact that the HF
commemmorative station is suddenly activated may well mean something. If you
go to celestrak and look at the last 30 days' launches you will see that
there are a number of items identified as rocket debris with a 97 degree
inclination obviosuly part of the launch sequence for Yaogan-7's 98 degree
inclination. So she might well be up there.

Hello everyone. It has been a while since we have had a Net with holidays
and our repeater controller going down as we were starting a Net. The Net
will be available on Echo link at N2EYH-L and on the Mt Beacon repeater on
146.970 pl 100 at 8PM EDT. Please join us and share your satellite knowledge
and
experiences with the net. Hope to hear you there.

Nice strong signal as it went near Hawaii up into Alaska. Good CW practice
for me.. Max range was 2900 km and copied to LOS at .5 degs.
