The satellite is a few minutes ahead of the website
(it changes mode earlier as the website indicates)

Your observation appears to be correct. I have seen this about a month or so
after the satellite gets a new
schedule uploaded to it. It appears to be a glitch on the web site. AO-27
should be turning on during afternoon
passes when it crosses approximately 29 degrees North latitude.

Good DelfiC3 pass here on 2008-04-29 18:20~18:30UTC. Decoded 223 packets with
the Rascal software.
This time I used automatic doppler correction and tracked object D. I have the
impression that
DelfiC3 is earlier than object B.
As experiment I tried to determine the spinrate of delfic3 and counted the
dips in the signal
level. Its 12 dips in 1 minute period so the spinrate at the moment must be
12 rpm or some
related number (24,6,3.. rpm). See screenshot:

I received DelfiC3 19:57UTC (orbit nr. 25).
I think I received DelfiC3 a bit earlier than my trackings software predicted.
Signals where good when DelfiC3 was at south, at north signals dissapeared.

There is another effect as well.
>From the ~22:00utc pass I made an mp3 recording.
Looking at the signal variations there is also a period of around 36 seconds,
which slowly increases to 50 seconds.
I used LHCP polarization and 2x6 elements DK7ZB, TS2000X, no pre-amp.

Once again nothing heard from Delphi over NZ on the 2041UT 36deg fully
sunlit pass. Good signals from SEEDS, CUTE1.7 and even chirpy COMPASS.
I note that stations reporting no signal today are all reporting on
descending node passes while good signal reports are once again reporting on
ascending node passes.
Unless Delphi is turning off Southbound best guess would be an antenna
squint effect. Are any stations reporting reception on Southbound passes?

Sadly keps are not accurate so I had to search for
the strongest signal (I lost sync somethimes).

Well knock me down with a feather!
Suddenly Delphi has burst into life in this part of the world!
Strong signals during the entire 2217UT 20 Deg pass.
LOS at 2217, 1deg within about 30 seconds of predicted.
Seems to have been in its "emergency mode". Good sync but no packets
decoded.
I have a 68Mb wave file (manual Doppler on that pass) if required.

Tracked the delfiC3 pass of 21:30UTC found also intervals between 33 and 44
seconds. It looks like
a complex movement with a spinrate of ~1,5 rpm.

Hello All,
23:50 2008/04/29 UTC pass - nothing heard from Delfi-3C over VK. Admittedly I
was concentrating on SEEDS, which I did hear very well. Yesterday I checked
my setup was working by listening to VO-52's beacon and all is ok.
Isn't this fun.

Finally managed to copy Delfi-C3 during a 9 degree elevation pass this
morning, 0922 local or 0122 UTC over West Malaysia. Unfortunately, I failed
to log into the Delfi server for some reasons - have to check my login
again. Also briefly heard SEEDS again on this pass, while Cute-1.7 + APDII
was not heard. Is Cute-1.7+APDII continuously transmitting CW telemetry on
437.275 MHz?

Tuning the downlink for Doppler is indeed not a simple process but luckily
still manageable. Have another pass at 1055 local or 0255 UTC where I will
attempt to copy again. Both SEEDS and Delfi-C3 were copied using Object C
keps. Equipment used, IC-910H, 2x10 Yagi for VHF, 2x15 Yagi for UHF,
SB-2000 VHF Preamp and SB-7000 UHF Preamp. All horizontally polarized.
WAV or MP3 recording of Delfi-C3 also available on request.

Finally got some packets tonight. 30April2008 0225 UTC from FM05pj, 145.930
MHz, LOUD when it came into the sunlight (S7). RASCAL recorded just shy of
100 packets.
RASCAL is a neat piece of software! I also copied packets via the DSP-93/TNC
in KISS mode.
