Hi Elan, WB2IOL

Read please the article " Switching Four Polarizations on a 70 cm Crossed
Yagi "

Part-1 AMSAT-Journal March/April 2007
Part-2 AMSAT-Journal May/June 2007

In a separate email I have sent to you a pdf file for both articles.

In a further exploration of the use of the Plan 13 algorithm in Atmel
(or similar) micro-controllers, I've posted a youtube video and
related text that suggests how an amateur satellite could use such a
device on board to change its mode based on its location over the
earth.

http://sites.google.com/site/qrptracker/applications/modeswitcher/

The video includes a sped-up night-long tracking session, some current
consumption testing on the bench and a calculation of the power
budget, which show that even for birds transmitting in the tens of
milliwatts, this approach can provide about a 14% improvement in power
budget.

Hi all,

I am back home, I want to thank all the support John, K8YSE, always
send messages from my activities on the grids EK15, EK25 and EK26,
thanks John, and all of you for always being attentive to my call.

Wanted to schedule everything very well, but my trip was with my
family, I had to hide the radio and antenna to avoid being caught,
was a vacation! for my radio is my vacation, I made a deal with my
wife on my satellite activities.

I hope in a next output can schedule everything and make known,
Talves soon I activate these new grid or otherwise.

To find out if my records are in the log can be viewed online on my
webpage at www.qsl.net/xe3dx/ and know the time of contact.

Thanks again and hope to hear soon, these stations were heard:

Any JA's who operate AO-7 mode A.? Perhaps we can "stretch" the footprint
just a bit.? From my QTH CN87, I can "see" northern JA.? Email direct.
