Hi all,
I just can't resist relating a comment from Germany, the land of beer purity
law, something I agree with wholeheartedly. It came from a barmaid via a
friend who had recently visited, first a quote from what prompted it:
"The concept of canned beer proved to be a hard sell..."
Translated from German, "Beer in cans? DRECK!" I'm pretty sure that word
after being adopted into the English language needs no translation.
Cans guarantee purity and taste? I beg to differ! Beer, nectar of the gods,
but it took Man to can and spoil it... except where it's Deutchland uber
alles.
"New Jersey, the most American of all states. It has everything from
wilderness to the Mafia. All the great things and all the worst,
like Route 22."
