Hi Ian and all,
Of course the Motorola TV was Never Twice Same Color until VIR came along
that locked in the color perfectly. There was an Indian video store in
Elizabeth that did PAL to NTSC VHS conversion so that segment of the
population could watch their Bollywood tapes, now the DVD format is universal.
Just one little mistake, those TV transmissions from the moon were NTSC to
begin with. (;->) They were poor quality due to weight constraints so they
used the equivelent of a stripped down CCTV camera, and your customers wanted
studio camera perfection? You should have told them if they want perfection
go watch Andy Pandy and Loobie Loo (in the loo).
I wouldn't mind if they brought back STTOS and what Trekkie could forget the
expendible red tunics? Did you ever notice every one of them in a landing
party had a worried look on his face? Blacks especially, they knew they'd get
it first, so that's when the first rule of military life becomes most
important, NEVER VOLUNTEER.
