Hi K.O. and all,

Most of us here are old farts, packeteers, Mouskateers and TV repairmen are a
dying breed. I remember once before you said you were a CRT Brother, you
probably remember capacitive hysteresis. I was familiar with inductive
hysteresis but got a surprise one day in the shop disconnecting the A2 lead
from a picture tube I had already discharged. WTH? That led to keeping my
screwdriver with a grounding lead soldered to it in olace while I removed the
lead with the other hand, a few years later I discovered the name for that
mysterious phenomenon.

In my travels I came across a surprise, there's a TV shop in the area. I was
wondering about that, yesterday I discovered a source on line for display
parts. I thought it was all a few computer shops here and there but at least
ONE TV shop survives... somehow.
