EcomScs needs the Microsoft Net Frame work 2.0 to work.
According to Microsoft the Net Frame Work 2.0 will work with Win98
I am guessing that youir PC would need at least 128meg ram for it to work well.
You can go to http://www.microsoft.com and down load and install the Net Frame Work 2.0.
The one major advantage of this need for the Net Frame Work is the fact that the
EcomScs setup program and EcomScs itself does not make any changes to your PC.
To un-install EcomScs it is a simple matter of deleting the C:\EcomScs directory
Note again acording to Microsoft the Net Frame Work 2.0 will work in Win98
Your Milage may vary. It is therefore recomended that you back up your PC
before installing the Net Frame work.
I have not tested this myself. The only Win98 PC I have is a old 120Mhz Laptop
with 16meg Ram. Not a good test bed.
I take no responsibility for any one who attemps to install the Net Frame Work 2.0 in
their Win98 PC.
Is there any one out there that has installed the Net Frame Work 2.0 in their
Win98 Machine? If so how did it work out?
