Jean et al;
The established method of convers/chat is the ping-pong server system. This
links via TCP/IP on port 3600 and has for decades. Since then others have tried
to develop chat networks using NetRom for linkers. Why use a protocol that
limits MTU to 236 bytes instead of the original chat system that uses 1500
bytes per packet?

FlexNet and Xnet also do NetRom or ax25 based linker chats. Thise can not
possibly link into the ping-pong system that we have had for decades.

I hope this helps clear things up for you.
