Hello to all out there in the packet community. I was wondering if anyone
knows of a resource that compares the various software packages out there
for node and or routing of ax25 packets. I would like to know the pros
and cons of say BPQ vs Xrouter vs URONODE vs many others and what is better
for each OS. I'm running an embedded linux board with bpq on it currently
as an experiment interfaced to 2 agwpe ports on a remote system via our
mesh network here in Las Vegas. It works good but am so curious about all
the other systems out there and what each offers and why they are used
over others. Why BPQ over Xrouter or Xrouter over BPQ etc.. So many
fine software authors out there have dedicated so much time to these
projects (some part of a lifetime!) and my hats off to all of them for
creating such wonderful systems to keep packet going.

Have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year to all in the Packet World.
