Hiya all,
Up until a certain farmer blasted an intruder and his mate, most rural
community folk kept a loaded shotgun by the bedside for just such an event
and who can blame them as it is known that the police now use call centres
to filter all calls. Not so long ago a debate was raging about what
constitutes legal force or reasonable force? The answer given by a judge
was that it must be a spontaneous reaction to the event. A truncheon is
out, pepper spray is out, guns are out...et al.
My sister in the States tells me that in most areas if an intruder is shot
dead- justice has been done. This is also the case in Europe (the new
country). England no longer exists in the EU scheme of things, the
southern part of the country is now governed by La Manche Region, the
Northern areas fall under Scandinavian rule, its all very confusing.
But where it becomes an offence to defend yourself, your family and your
property. Armageddon cant be far off!
