Well, we disagree on this one Warren, I am not blindly defending Howard.
I have a significant advantage over you as he was our PM and you knew only
what you read in the press about him. Now do you remember a couple of
posts ago when you made some remarks about the veracity of the press???
Touche?? You can't have it both ways.
I did not agree with all that Howard said or did but I must admit that he
was a survivor of the first order. The other side wrote him off years ago
when he was Leader of the Opposition but he came back to haunt them and
hold the Government for close on 12 years. 12 years of prosperity for this
country. Anyway as I said before it is not really your business; stick to
something you know something about.
As far as your comment on the range of a rifle is concerned you must be
joking.The range has everything to do with how dangerous a weapon is. The
fact that a sniper (pardon me for mentioning it again) such as your gas
station killer could fire from a distance and hit the target. Another
instance - could the assassin have killed Kennedy from his hiding place
with a pistol? Doubtful. Case rests. Put that frog down... it's got
fleas..
