I suppose that excludes John Howard? You're entitled to your opinion even
if it is hanging in thin air and not based on well known fact nor any
sort of logic. Being ex military you should know how firearms operate,
their uses, etc. and should have used your knowledge in drawing your
conclusion rather than basing it on illogic and conjecture.
What makes you think the US "statistics" of gun murders beat everywhere
else in the world? Do you really think we murder guns? I'll have to ask
Mister Spock about that one. Before you make wild statements wouldn't it
be a good idea to do your homework on those "statistics"? That's your
assignment and I'll wait patiently, it's a mighty big world with a whole
lot of guns so you have a mountain of stats to wade through before I'll
get a logical answer out of you.
How did this topic get so out of control anyway? Ian and I started out
comparing Lugers and now look at it. Oh I'm not loosing my cool, only
loosing my mind trying to understand how a Nazi WW2 pistol turned into a
political football.
