Hello All ....
This is an old wornout theme on Packet gasping it's final
breath. I don't think so ...
First of April, we had a storm here, and the Packet system took
an April Fools Holiday....yep right up until April 24th .
Now if packet was in it's final hours or minutes...why is it
back here? Here being Ontario,Canada.
In fact the bulls have increased, with a greater variety of
topics, which is great to see. Also nice to see different
languages from around the world...even if their characters
for text make a mess of the listings <g>
Another fact, is at the local fleamarkets < rallys> for the
guys in UK ... the TNCs are being snapped up, as soon as
they hit the table, and ...gee they are being sold in
the radio stores, and some are out of stock and on re-order.
Death or dieing...What?
Also read a comment in this theme about the YL in TAS that
can not reach the BBS. It isn't the BBS...it is the digipeater
she can not reach. For some reason it has gone off the air
so for now she listed herself pernament..which is a shame.
I'd like to have said more, but as before, I have invited
by posting the wrath of lud unwanted vulgar comments from
certain quarters. When I tired to solve differences via
email...no takers...yet to proceed without them..one gets
comments like...Oh you are making comments without them
there to defend themselves...ok right...I wonder too when
they email each other...if the same applys?
Bottomline ... and most have already said it.... It isn't
dead! It isn't switching off.... and I am so happy to
be the bearer of great news..that Packet in Ontario CANADA
is growing in leaps and bounds...new people on...lots of
mailboxes to connect to and say hi...so long way from dead
and the BBS bulls from all over the world are the proof
too!
