Hi all, I remembered that there is a program that works under windows 7
this is called Outpost Packet Message Manager it can be found at
http://www.outpostpm.org/
While it is suited for emergancy communications it could be usefull to start off with for people who access packet bbss via tcpip.
I do not use this program as I use winpak on my main windows 7 computer in a windows XP VM , while winpak is running it seems to indicate that it uses 100% of the CPU utilisation but the VM is only using at most 4% of the total system resources.
While running a VM is not for everyone VirtualBox makes it painless unlike some other products out there, also Virtualbox is free.
