Hence my original bulletin.

Years ago I could download 500 bulletins a day and have pleasure reading
and contributing to plenty of good stuff.

From national radio society stuff, HF dx'ing, CW, SSTV,packet techniques,
law (general),operating systems, solving all manner of technical
problems, cell phones, ISP's and the list just went on and on and on.

I used the world wide converse systems, local chat servers, downloaded
files from BBS's, ran PMS systems for the benefit of others, the dx cluster
and everything the mode had to offer.

I made lots of friends.

Now lets look at the reality.

30 bulletin sent on a world wide system per day.

And what is there to read ?

Garbage - utter drivel about bloody cups of tea and frogs.

Not a scrap of intelligent matter at all.

It's certainly not worth sending bulletins anymore - most of the
"audience" *is* the lunatic fringe incapable of useful comment.

Yes folks - for packet it's "game over".
It's no use flogging the dead horse of packet.

It can't be rebranded.
It can't be fixed.
It will never be as good as it used to 10/15 years ago.

It's over.
Let's find something else to do.
