Hello Sergej ., As you can see and read I am still here
reading along and, yes I will try answer for myself and
not the others.
There are some in the list and I suppose others who had
had enough of the postings, just turning in dirt and dirty.
Others are victims of Ham "Radio" Clubs who pull down the
Packet Station and thats it, leaving those on "RF" to seek
packet via the Internet. Of course after doing that, why
go to packet...there is more. Ham "Radio" Clubs here in
Canada, have been doing this at an alerming rate, which
prompts me to ask, if they seek Internet so much and no
RADIO, then can commerical interests secure what Radio
frequncys these Internet Hams have abandoned? Clubs
here have lost the reason for the hobby "RF" "RADIO".
The clubs also don't encourage ham radio clubs in schools
and as a result schools are getting rid of their ham radio
stations and getting computer labs and Internet installed.
Thanks goes to the clubs and the National organizations
representing Ham Radio. International too ... from what
I hear here.

Going down thru the list. KB2VBA ? don't know him you might
have the call wrong. G0TEZ is out there , but his link is via
I think the Intenet, and I guess that doesn't interest him as
it doesn't me. G4EBT left Packet due to the grey matter on packet
being ...well not to his liking and conversations were ...not
with the greatest outcome. GM7HUD left ..not coming back.
G6XCJ lost his site where he is, and interest after a few started
on him for his opinions. G0FTD...gone...made too many enemys and
well his opinions were of his own. ZL.... gone to the YL @WW
but now on an Internet site due to the slugs on packet making it
had with their opinions on them. YL @WW has a site and has
grown and we meet via Echolink.

I can not speak for all OMs Sergej, but some and some new packeteers
see the value of Packet and the Packet BBS. Time will tell if
WE all can get it going, or accept that getting it going will be
a long slow process with many pitfalls and there too we need clubs
to support Packet Operations and not everything that HAS to be
connected to the Internet.
I hope you have plenty of replys....
