Warren makes a good point about the variation in temp within the USA. Here in
England we have, for a few weeks had higher than usual temps. It put GB7CIP of
the air for a couple of days.
With me, it affected my remote control to my TV set and set top box.At anythin
over 26øC about about 80øF things played up badly.
I thought "what about other countries where summer temperatures are far higher
than ours. Then I rembered the ubiquitous air conditioning. Almost unknown in
the UK but common in the USA and other countries.

Today and the rest of this week are forecast as being just mild but going up
at weekend to 30øC + in places.

I don't care,ot will be the usual long, cold winter.
