Hi Kathryn and all,
My my, another 6er and a YL at that, there was more hiding in the woodwork
than I guessed. (;->) Right, the Left Coast is cool while just a few miles
inland it gets quite hot, like in Death Valley. San Frisco has the bay and
fog but there is UC at Berserkley that has been in a perpetual fog since
Professor Leary took his first trip.
Now cue Ethel Waters or Martha Reeves depending on which Heat Wave you want.
Here on the Right Coast we just came out of a heat wave that played hob with
the infrastructure, when railroad tracks kink and overhead wires catch fire
you know it's HOT! When temperatures break the century mark (100F+) and
humidity is 80-90% it's tropical, all that's missing is jungle.
Eh, that's over with but as far as summer goes the fat lady doesn't sing
until around mid October, then when winter comes we'll complain about the
cold. (;->)
As far as Paula's ants are concerned we know where they are BUT where are her
uncles? (hiss boo) Maybe I should send her some ant lions, more entertaining
than just ants.
