Paula, I doubt they would go to the trouble and expense
to match the LED's. If the characteristics vary too much, then
maybe they just throw the unit away during the quality check.
I think a lot of these bicycle lights normally flash quickly anyway,
so maybe it is hard to notice any variance in brightness between
the LEDs. Also, by using a higher forward conduction current, the
differences may also be less obvious.
