Oh crap, note to self: finish coffee before packet. You should have seen the
mess I just cleaned off the monitor............
If all else fails read the instructions. I'm sure there's a help file that
came with the FBB software you hopefully have archived for those senior
moments. To reply to a bull with a bull type sb (space) topic @WW or
appropriate H address. To reply with p-mail typs sp (space) message number.
Oh, and watch which keys your fingers land on. Don't forget the space or the
BBS will ask where you left your marbles.
If forgetting what I say is a problem just do it the old fashioned way like I
do, work the BBS live. That way I can reply to something without forgetting,
I just scroll up to the message I'm replying to. Since Winpack doesn't
recognize the mouse's scroll wheel I installed WizMouse that applies the
wheel to every program lacking that function.

That's a trap of your own making there Ms. Wizard. The more complicated you
make things the more difficult they are to work with down the road when you
discover you left your mind back at the last petrol station. Cars were easy
to work on before EFI and computerized everything, packet was easy to work
with before all these modern innovations. Take a couple steps backward, go
out in the garden and sniff the poppies, kick back and relax, then do packet
the way we did in 1985. Then you won't jump up and down yelling KILL KILL
KILL and they won't all move away from you on the Group W bench and they
won't pin a medal on you, pat you on the back and send you down the hall...
Oh, almost got carried away by Arlo Guthrie thinking about the Alice's
Resturant (sp?) Masa-cree and the 8 X 10 color glossy photos with the circles
and arrows to be used as evidence against us.
