Hi Paula and survivors,
Why wait? Here, a new cable modem will be installed shortly.

Ah.now THAT's better. Yeah, put it in the 'fridge 'cause those things like I
are heat intolerant. The basement is the coolest spot in this house but still
during the heat wave it popped off, then too our summer temps average 10F
higher than the UK. You remember Farenheit? I'm too lazy to convert to
Centegrade. (;->)
Burley cable "engineers"? Burley yes, engineers no, they barely can string
wires let alone know what makes things tick (usually UXBs). Now just for
giggles Google, Bing, or whatever Larry The Cable Guy and check images. Oh,
you can narrow things down to regional servers by typing in google.com.xx
where xx is the postal/internet country code. Lots of people don't know that,
I just found out fairly recently.
23C is just below ISO room temperature (25C) and even with raised humidity is
comfortable. Pretty much the same here, yesterday the predicted rain didn't
materialize but we felt the cold front, people put on sweaters and light
jackets. I can imagine the garden is happy, you too, but when sniffing
flowers check for bees first. (;->)
Oh hey, a few weeks ago I was in a not so usual spot, sitting on the porch in
the evening I saw an unusual sight. We have the Hanging Gardens pf Babble On
here and fussing with the blooms was a what? A hummingbird??? After dark a
BIRD??? I got up for a closer look, not a bird, not a plane, not Superman but
a hummingbird moth. There's a first time for everything, just when you think
you've seen it all something new pops up.
