Hi Paul and all,

Yeah, the old salutation rhymes. (;->) Murphy hates me too, nothing ever goes
right the first time but I digress. Looks like the old Morton salt catch
phrase over your way, when it rains it pours. Well, you're lucky it's summer
and heat is easer to deal with outdoors than cold when you have to bundle up
and try to climb that way and worse, snow and ice.

Pigeons... which one is Walter? (rim shot)

Hmmm, a raspberry pi hooked up to a TNC-2 clone, sure beats the old days with
an IBM clone PC taking up a gazillion times more space and power too. I
started out with an MFJ-1270 TNC-2 clone hooked up to an Azden PCS-7000
transceiver and a 386 desktop that BTW gave me my start with computers. The
386 is long gone but the TNC and rig continued in service for a couple of
decades almost, until I found myself without antennas and ended up with my
home BBS in VK6 Land... oh well.

Geez, nobody has mentioned amprnet in yonks, I'm surprised it didn't go the
way of fido. Heh, you'd be surprised that a few forward looking hams had a
few blocks of IP addresses reserved for our exclusive use and it still
stands. Or would you? (;->)
