Hello Paula;

It was absolutely wonderful to see you posting a message. Even if you
had nothing to say, it was great to know you are still about watching the
bees and the ants, and wondering what all we are doing.

Here in the USA, California to be precise, we are having a heat wave also.
This will be the second one in a month, but is expected to be smaller in
duration than the first one.

The Ozone-generator on my new (6 months old) hot-tub broke, so I'm fixing
that. I'm looking around for a 220 mobile that I can add to my packet
BBS here (GVCITY node) to do more forwarding on.

The YL got a new(er) Toyota RAV4, so I stripped all the radio gear out
of the old van, and the van goes to the bone yard this Saturday.

Just looking to stay as cool as I can during the days. Drinks, shade, AC, etc.

I do miss you terribly. I switched to JNOS on linux and turned off my
old PZT run dos machine, but I just can't bring myself to throw it out.
I keep saying there has got to be some hill-top vault somewhere just in
need of a packet station.

Take care of your health (I worry). And don't forget to stop and smell
those lovely flowers you see from time-to-time.

Cheers from the U.S.
