Subject: What Shall We Talk About?

Ok, I've logged onto the BBS for the first time in several months, and I feel that I ought to write a plain language non-machine-generated bulletin, just so that there's something for people to read. If everyone did this from time to time packet would be more interesting.

But after sitting here for several minutes, I have to admit I can think of nothing interesting to say. I suspect I am not alone in this.

I could tell you that I'm sitting in a suny garden with a laptop and a wifi connection to my phone, telnetting to my BBS while I watch the bees working the pretty yellow flowers in the lawn, but I doubt you'd find that intersting.

I could tell you that the UK is experiencing a heatwave at the moment, which shouldn't be unuisual in summer (except that we haven't had much summer in recent years), but you probably know that already.

I could tell you about the ants excavating the sand from under the patio at my feet, but I doubt anyone would find that interesting either.

So there you have it, I have nothing to say I'm afraid...

73, Paula
