Subject: XR32-XS32-BPQ32-WinFbb
Hi all, We have been alpha testing XR32 as a front end router connected to
the XS32 BBS - also being alpha tested. Connected to XR32 via com0com virtual
port software is XS32 & BPQ32 plus WinFbb. The WinFbb is mainly for WinPack
users. We have to also restart BPQMail shortly.
All application software have been running for over 6 weeks without fault.
Paula, still has some modifications for the new XR32 & XS32, before their
latest release.
Both applications are linear in nature, so do not have to be installed.
You just move the directory and files from computer to computer & it works
just great as before - on the other PC.
The monitor screens in XR32 are just great for sysops.
Paula will bring out a Linux version later in the year, but
They do work on Slackware 11 Linux running in command mode on a 486 PC with
32Mb of memory, using DOSEMU. We have to write some doco on it.
