Hi all, we are running on the same PC - WinFbb, BPQ32, BPQMail, XS32 & XR32.
All the problems seemed to start - when we changed the virtual COM: link from
XR32 to BPQ32 from 9600 to 38400 - We setup Hardware handshaking on the XR32
side, but could not on the BPQ32 side.
At the same time we decided to change the master PC from win7 to win8 - what a
disaster, we are still trying to setup our old win7.
Paula is looking into the problem her with the 32 bit XServer XS32. It is
under Alpha test. It has been running at G8PZT's place for quite a while
with no problems. It looks like the setup we have here may be the problem.
Now, NO bulletins are forwarded from XS32 until we fix the problem.
So hopefully we have fixed it up for now.
Paula G8PZT said last night that she could not see where the code is at fault,
for it was ported from XS16 which has worked for over 20 years with no problems
If anybody has a suggestion about a solution, could you please forward your
suggestions to Paula and myself.
The XS32 is a linear program - which does not have to be installed.
Except for this problem - when it is released, we would recommend it as a BBS
to anybody.
So, my apology for the disaster so far......
