Hi Ian and all,

Lucky you, your climate is moderated by air and ocean currents yet Brits
whinge over the silliest things. Well, silly to those of us who experience
extremes and are used to them. You measure snow in millimeters, we measure it
in feet, you'd never survive in Moscow for example where it gets up to third
floor windows and temperatures of -50C. It doesn't get that bad here at the
shore but bad enough, thankfully so far weather has been mild. Sometimes in
summer it gets up to 43C with air so thick you can cut it with a knife
comparable to a Turkish bath.

Now if you're worried about getting up a hill with so little snow you need
all weather tires or raise hell at the next Council meeting, tell them to
spend some of your tax money on salt. An air conditioned car? Never mind,
I've busted your chops enough.

Oh I understand global warming alright, in two words; easy money. Right, it's
just like flying saucers, after all the U in UFO stands for UNIDENTIFIED.
GGGRRR...

Take care? OK, but I'll save some for you.
