Hi Ian, Pete and all,

For some strange reason I didn't see Rod's bull, don't tell me we have
forwarding problems again... oh well.

Since the US media with the possible exception of BBC America I usually miss
doesn't carry Australian news I must rely on my spies to tip me off and send
me to the internet for the full story. The latest WX is the seasonal monsoon
was late and the heat was most unusual, now it has come bringing rain and
lower temperatures.

This is the season for bush fires, nothing unusual about that but what's this
about a dust cloud? Oddly enough I've never heard of Australian dust storms,
could be they have them but they don't make news. They're common in the
Sahara and the US desert Southwest but don't make news unless Phoenix
suddenly gets midnight at noon.

Global WHAT? Oh crikey, the greenies down under are hopping up and down about
the pre-monsoon high temperatures and that end of the world BS withought a
thought to north-south ping pong seasons. They pulled the same crap here
during every summer heat wave, when temperatures returned to normal they shut
up and never a peep in winter. Gee, I wonder why. Get this, they blamed Sandy
on global warming saying storms are getting worse and more frequent. We've
been keeping track of storms since before the weather service was born but
they choose to ignore history and plod onward with their agenda. If you want
to get rich start a religion, L. Ron Hubbard founded the Church of
Scientology and the greenies founded the Church of Gaia, I don't know which
is worse.

It makes one think alright, I think the world is going mad.

Rant mode off.
